Part of the O’Callaghan hotel group, the Davenport Hotel comes highly recommended. It is one of the most reliable and affordable three star hotels around. This building was originally a church and its exterior provides a beautiful introduction to the hotel. Inside, accommodation is comfortable and modern. Enjoy dining in Lanyon’s bar or food and drink in the President’s Bar. Note that bar and restaurant charges from any O’Callaghan hotel may be added to your room account.
The Davenport is located on Merrion Square. Two other O’Callaghan hotels are located on the square, the Alexander and the Mont Clare. The National Gallery and Trinity College are also but a stone’s throw away.
Have you stayed in the Davenport Hotel? Do you agree or disagree with any of the comments made above? If so, now is the chance to air your views below.
